01 — Agreement
Acceptance and eligibility
By accessing or using Miditor, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally able to enter this agreement. If you use Miditor for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Miditor provides an online MIDI editor, player, converter and related informational pages. Features may be added, changed, limited or discontinued as the project evolves. Roadmap pages describe intended work, not a promise that a feature will ship on a particular date.

Protect the service
Do not attempt to bypass security, disrupt availability, introduce malware, scrape at a harmful rate, access non-public systems or interfere with another person's use of Miditor.
Use exports responsibly
You are responsible for reviewing files created with the MIDI converter and confirming that you have the necessary rights to use any notes, arrangements, SoundFonts or other source material.
03 — Content
Your files and public content
You retain your rights in MIDI files opened locally. The normal local editor workflow does not give Miditor possession of those files. If you deliberately publish content through a community or cloud feature, you grant Miditor a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, reproduce, process and display that content only as needed to operate and promote the service.
You represent that you have the rights required for anything you publish. Public content may be accessed, downloaded or shared by other users. We may remove or restrict content that appears unlawful, infringing, unsafe, misleading or inconsistent with these terms, but we are not required to monitor every submission.
04 — Reliability
Disclaimers and liability
Miditor is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, permanent storage, error-free conversion, compatibility with every MIDI file or suitability for a particular musical, commercial or technical purpose. Keep independent backups of important work.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miditor and its contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost data, profits, opportunities or goodwill arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
You may stop using Miditor at any time. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to protect the service, comply with law or address a violation. Questions about these terms can be submitted through our contact page. Updates take effect when posted here, with the revised date shown above.

Can I use Miditor for free?
Yes. The currently available browser tools may be used without payment or registration. Future optional features may have separate terms presented before use.
Do I keep ownership of my MIDI files?
Yes. Miditor does not claim ownership of MIDI files you open locally. You remain responsible for having the rights needed to use, publish or share any material.
Is converted audio guaranteed to be identical everywhere?
No. Rendering can vary by browser, device, SoundFont and source file, so you should review important exports before relying on them.
