Choose MP3 or WAV for Your Audio Export
Both formats begin with the same MIDI performance and selected SoundFont. MP3 compresses the rendered audio for a smaller, widely playable file. WAV stores uncompressed PCM audio and is better suited to later editing, archiving or transcoding.

How to Prepare a MIDI Audio Export
- Load the files. Add one or more .mid or .midi songs to the queue.
- Select a SoundFont. Use an available sound or load an .sf2 or .sf3 file, then preview it.
- Balance the tracks. Adjust volume, pan and instrument assignments, or use mute and solo to prepare a mix or stem.
- Configure the output. Choose the format and its quality settings, then set range, fades, release tail, volume or normalization as needed.
- Render locally. Start conversion and download the result. Processing time varies with the song, SoundFont, settings and device.
The source MIDI is handled locally during the normal workflow. The page may still make ordinary requests for application assets, analytics or catalog data; those requests are separate from uploading your MIDI content.

Does the MIDI converter upload my file?
No. Miditor parses the MIDI file and renders the audio locally in your browser. The MIDI file is not uploaded to Miditor, and no account is required.
What is the difference between MP3 and WAV?
MP3 is a smaller compressed file for sharing and general playback. WAV is uncompressed and better suited to editing, mixing and archiving.
Can I edit notes before converting?
For note, tempo and arrangement changes, use the MIDI editor first, then export the revised file here. This converter focuses on previewing and rendering the audio output.
Can the converter turn MP3 or WAV into MIDI?
No. Audio transcription requires a different analysis workflow. This tool accepts .mid and .midi files and renders their performance as MP3 or WAV audio.
Is there a fixed upload or file-size limit?
There is no upload step and Miditor does not publish a fixed source-file limit. Practical capacity and rendering speed depend on the song, SoundFont, browser and available device memory.
